The System was Never BROKEN, It was BUILT this way.

This statement may be an overlooked concept in defining this nation and it's people, but this statement is profound and relays much truth about The United Sates of America and the predicament it finds itself in today; both domestically and abroad.

In domestic issues and politics, this is obviously why we have so much wealth inequality in this nation, with people of color typically at the bottom and whites typically on top. This is why we can't have National Healthcare and other social safety net programs enjoyed by European nations, and indeed much of the developed world. A majority of White Christian Conservatives in this nation are not against social programs, so long as White Christians are the intended recipients of these programs. If White Christians are not the primary or sole beneficiaries of these social programs, then White America won't have them, and will fight tooth and nail to prevent the implementation of such social programs.

When it comes to foreign and international issues and politics, this is why the West; specifically United States of America (in concert with Britain and to a smaller degree; France) feels justified in it's manipulation & corruption of Non-White and Non-Christian foreign governments, exploitation of their people, and ultimately the plundering and theft of those peoples' natural resources; most notably Oil in the Middle East.

I believe that the underlying theme and unspoken truth in this 'code word' of 'American Exceptionalism' is in fact; the American-centric almost Nazi-like belief in White Christian Supremacy, and thus by inference: Americas own underlying belief in the inferiority of all other religions, cultures, races, and nations.

It is a well documented trend that America's white Christian population is declining precipitously: White Americans will be a minority by 2044 or sooner.

Although this decline may offer some relief to the non-Christian, non-white or 'not white enough' population of America and around the world, the inevitable decline of America's White Christian majority will increase the pressure and anger that these White Christians feel about their impending loss of power and authority, and the world will become a more dangerous place as they attempt to cling to power. Domestically we can expect more white initiated violence and attempts to oppress Non-Christians and Non-Whites (especially if Donald Trump is elected president). Abroad, the world can expect more American military activity and possibly the use of nuclear weapons against it's increasing number of enemies around the globe as America's military, spread too thin; will be unable to respond adequately with conventional warfare and limited troop intervention.

2019 Update

For the past 3 years since we published this article, 'White Supremacy is the Operating System of America* July 6, 2016' we at True World Politics have received a disproportionate amount of 'Flak' about this particular article compared to all others that appear on this site. We have been accused of not providing a balanced perspective on this issue (among other things that are not too pleasant to mention in mixed company). So a friend of ours (name redacted for privacy reasons) submitted this e-mail correspondence with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and some other material as a rebuttal to this article.

We are not going to make any judgments here, but I'm sure that the 'truth' if there is one truth, lies somewhere in the 'middle' between the ideological schools of thought being presented here. Enjoy!

Look, I don't have any problem with LEGAL immigration. However, I have traveled the world extensively and I can attest to the fact that anywhere that Europeans (particularly the British) still maintain influence or a strong cultural legacy; are good places to live that tend to have more racial and gender equality, better rule of law, and a higher standard of living with less wealth inequality than we have in the United States. In fact, I believe that the United States would probably have been a better, less racist and less dysfunctional place, if we had avoided the 'American Revolution' and remained a British commonwealth or possession like Australia, Barbados, Canada and other former British colonies with strong British Cultural Legacies.

Regarding my response to the article 'The Boundaries of Whiteness Are Protected With Blood and Bullets': If you think that the standard of living in America is declining now; just wait until you go about implementing these open borders that you (DSA as per Resolution #73) want (and this article seems to advocate); this is a fast track to turning this country into a third world dystopia. Also, I'm glad that this article included a Jewish perspective, I would like to add to that Jewish perspective:

I received an e-mail from Nefesh B'Nefesh, the Israeli immigration service which I receive e-mail from due to my application for Aliyah to Israel. This e-mail from Nefesh B'Nefesh (attached) proceeds to tell me how I can live in a private house in a *'vibrant Anglo' community in Israel's south.

At first glance, I thought to myself 'This has got to be one of the most racist things I have ever read from a Jewish organization', but if you look at the context of this statement: how Israel is trying to build their new nation; you see that this statement, suggests a preference for building Israeli communities modeled on Anglo (White European) cultural institutions. The British and other White Europeans have a long history of forming strong and prosperous nations and empires. The British do this particularly well because they borrowed heavily from the Romans in the ways of empire building; and the necessary assimilation of other cultures into the empire and subsequently raising the standard of living of those 'conquered'. In fact there are historical records that show that some nations in the path of Roman expansion threw down their arms and welcomed the Roman occupation, because they saw that Roman 'management' and rule, meant a higher standard of living.

Regarding Socialism: I have some travel plans to Norway and possibly some other Scandinavian countries in the coming months, I will know more after that trip; but this is what I understand so far about Scandinavian Style Socialism: It works quite well because Scandinavian countries are relatively ethnically & culturally homogeneous, being comprised mainly of White Europeans who have a common sense of cultural identity and a common work ethic that largely prevents abuse of social programs en mass, as we see here in the United States.

So based on this observation, I do NOT think the sort of 'Multicultural Socialism' currently promoted by DSA, that seeks to eradicate White European influence; is a viable and sustainable means of governance.

Honestly, if you don't believe that espousing the doctrine of The Great Replacement constitutes white supremacy, I don't know what to tell you. This recent article provides a good synthesis and abundant sources. I am a Latinx immigrant privileged to not be targeted by state-sanctioned violence because I am white, and tragedies like the El Paso shooting make it clear to me that a lot of people's discontent is not simply about immigration. In any case, I refuse to gaslight and undermine the trauma of my comrades of color who live on our militarized border and are subject to violence every day.

This was a home-grown domestic terrorist, a white supremacist who drove over 10 hours to inflict violence on our community. This white supremacist attack ties directly into the increased militarization of El Paso and our US-Mexico border, the concentration camps in our city, and the increased white supremacy rhetoric coming from the White House. And because this is a border town, the only policy or 'change' to come will somehow be to further militarize the border in the name of 'safety'. Why do our communities have to live through this? Why are we expected to show how resilient and united we are in the face of white supremacist violence, instead of naming and denouncing it and fighting back?!

We our forced to live under the terror of white supremacy everyday in our community where we have children in cages and barbed wire lining the walkways of our pedestrian bridges crossing Ciudad Juarez y El Paso. When some of the very victims of this attack, drove themselves home as opposed to receiving much needed medical care because they were in fear of being deported. The fact that ICE and Border Patrol were on the scene of yesterday’s attack should tell you what life is like for our predominantly Latinx community.

I know this was an act of gun violence, but this tragedy goes far beyond just guns. We can not let the focus be politicized by either political party, we have to understand that this, this was fascism! This was white supremacy violence that directly targeted our community for the sole fact that we are over 80% Latinx. And we cannot let this be another shooting brushed under the rug that is soon forgotten. This will not be a re-run! We have to do something; we can not let people forget about what happened to us and to our community!

We have to come together and protect ourselves… because white supremacy is here, its been here, and it wont go away until we make it go away… we have to figure out a way to make sure that these victims don’t just become another forgotten mass shooting wrapped up in politicking. It is clear that there is a target on our back as a border community and as a community of color.

I ask of my fellow DSA comrades, to please, please, please, refocus after this convention is said and done, and realize what communities like mine are being faced with day in and day out under a fascist regime like the trump administration. The El Paso community, and all who support us, will mourn this tragedy, as we should, but let our tears and pain transform into political consciousness and action.

Let's take these words to heart and recommit to dismantling white supremacy in order to create the future of self-determination we all deserve. Let's show El Chuco del Norte that they are not alone in this fight.

Look, a single alleged quote by Schweitzer, as knowledgeable and as deeply committed to the development of Africa as this man was, is not the definitive word on people of Sub-Saharan African descent. Make your own judgments.

Just look around you. How many technologies or inventions came from Sub Saharan without the influence of Arabs or European Colonists? Can you look around your home or workplace and find anything that was originally designed, invented or developed in Africa? This nation, America; was built in part, upon the slave labor of Sub-Saharan Africans, these people were taken as slaves by White European Colonists because they were a less developed race. Because of this institution of slavery early in the history of the United State of America, modern day America now has an ongoing obligation to the black man (and woman) who are the descendants of these Sub-Saharan African Slaves, we as Americans have a responsibility for their welfare and providence in our society.

With that said, we have no business in opening our borders to unskilled and uneducated laborers from central and south America and elsewhere in the world, when our predominantly black inner cities, are filled with the unskilled and uneducated (and perhaps uneducable) descendants of former slaves, and are rife with crime, unemployment and urban decay.

Advanced African Civilizations:

Back in the 1990's there was this African American pride movement that tried to attribute the Egyptian civilization to Sub-Saharan Africans. At first glance this seemed plausible, after all Egypt is in the far north east corner of the African Continent. I don't know what happened to that movement, I never heard anything about it since the 90s. My guess is, that it was a sham archaeological theory that quietly faded away after it was found to be a fraud.

 I finally received proof of this sham archaeological theory on a trip to Karnak Temple in Luxor Egypt. Outside the temple are stone carvings that depict various scenes of worship and paying tribute to the pharaoh. One of these scenes depicts various conquered slaves bound together with ropes, many of them recognizably Sub Saharan African. Our Egyptian tour guide was quick to point out that these were captured Black, Sub-Saharan African Slaves being presented to the Egyptian Pharaoh.

So, No, the Egyptian civilization can not be attributed to Black, Sub-Saharan Africans. As far as I can tell, the only advanced Black, Sub-Saharan civilization ever to be found is the Wakanda Nation in the Marvel Studios Movie: Black Panther.

Try and Google that, you won't find it, because in 2019 'Facts are Racist', and 'Science is Racist' too.

July 28, 2020 - Open letter to the Black Lives Matter crowd, their supporters and enablers.

'I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.' - Martin Luther King, Jr.

According to Merriam-Webster online dictionary, the definition(s) of 'character' that Dr. King was speaking of were one, or all of these :

'1a: one of the attributes (see ATTRIBUTE entry 1 sense 1) or features that make up and distinguish an individual
//This is a side of her character that few people have seen.'

'c: the complex of mental and ethical traits marking and often individualizing a person, group, or nation
// the character of the American people'

'3: moral excellence and firmness
//a man of sound character'

I think that all educated and non-bigoted, non-racist people can agree with opening line of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 'I have a dream' speech, regarding judging people by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin.

It is certainly wrong and ignorant to discriminate against people because of the color of their skin. This one thing is probably the base cause of nearly all issues and conflicts regarding race and for race based civil disorder in the United States since the end of the civil war in 1865, through the civil rights movement in the 1960's and on into today. Certainly many white people (and other people of color) have been guilty of judging other peoples based on the color of their skin, and subsequently discriminating against them, marginalizing them, and much worse. Yes, this needs to change, it is not acceptable.

This discussion is not about promoting the idea that one person is inferior or superior to another due solely to the color of their skin.

This discussion is a rebuttal to the popularized multiculturalism and attempts to promote the idea that all cultures are equal and have the equal ability to produce functional societies, advanced science and technology, and all of the other trappings of technological advances that have shaped what we would all recognize as the modern world.

There are a plethora of claims of how Sub-Saharan Africans were the first to develop all sorts quintessential human technology from Iron smelting and Steel making, to written language to Mathematics, yet there seems to be scarce evidence that the Sub-Saharan Africans ever applied these technologies to do anything that was lasting or sustainable. We see abundant evidence of these developments as close to Sub-Saharan Africa as North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and especially the Middle East, but there is not much of anything in the way of technology to be found in Sub-Saharan Africa that is more advanced than stone age technologies; unless it had been imported (back?) into Sub-Saharan Africa by the Arabs, the Hebrews, the European Colonists, and most recently the Chinese.

To put Sub-Saharan African culture on the same footing as European, Middle Eastern, and Asian cultures may be 'Feel Good Anthropology' promoted by guilt ridden White American scholars and college professors trying to boost egos and attendance levels of African American students.

Even worse, the movement to deconstruct and eliminate (White) European, culture, technology, math and science and even European language and grammar seems to be picking up steam. It is absolutely ludicrous to seek to replace (White) European, culture, technology, math, science and proper English grammar with demonstratively inferior Afrocentric or Multicultural replacements.

Without a doubt to any intellectually honest person; this is a regression of human advancement, not the progress of humanity to a higher state.

Conclusion:

If you only study the history of Sub-Saharan Africans (Blacks) in America from the 1600's onward, you would easily be led to believe that Blacks are victims of 'Systematic Racist White European Oppression' beginning with slavery and that this fact alone is the cause of their current condition in the United States and elsewhere in the western world.

However, if you study the history of Sub-Saharan Africa and Sub-Saharan Africans (Blacks) in the broader context of World History, well before the age of the White European incursion and colonization occurred and note the achievements and actual trajectories of those Sub-Saharan nations and cultures; it becomes much more difficult to accept the idea that growth and development of Sub-Saharan Africans (Blacks) as a civilization and as a cultural entity has been stunted or repressed due to the effects of 'Systematic Racist White European Oppression'.

The overwhelming evidence; archeological, scientific, cultural etc. examined under any intellectually honest measure and criteria of judgment plainly shows that Sub-Saharan African Culture and Civilization would still be much less advanced than that of the Europeans', Middle Eastern and Asians, even if Sub-Saharan Africa had not had negative or violent contact with those other cultures and civilizations.

So....

Yes there have been injustices inflicted upon African Americans, in recent times mainly by low class, ignorant whites and other people of color, but this is no justification for destroying globally successful Institutions and Establishments of Culture, Math, Science, and Technology that have clearly resulted in the long term advancement of humanity and replacing it with some politically correct, 'feel good' construct that has no merit or viability. Nothing good will come from this replacement.

You all need to FOCUS -

There should be so much concern for the REAL, CONTEMPORARY struggle of the Working Middle Class in this country against Megalomaniac Billionaires, Authoritarian Technocrats and all of their Multinational Corporations, as there is for every other oppressed minority claiming victim-hood for wrongs perpetrated against them by long extinct institutions, and by people who lived (and died) decades and in some cases, centuries ago.

If you seek change, as we all do; focus.....

Struggle to restore Political Power and Prosperity to the Working Middle Class, this is the only struggle that matters, all other 'popular struggles' are systematically and strategically financed and promoted though mainstream channels by 'The Powers That Be' as part of a wider and very successful 'Divide and Conquer' strategy that has enabled them to retain all real power in the United States and globally.

Additionally....

The REAL injustice in our society is related to Economic and Wealth inequality brought on by global labor arbitrage via the mass outsourcing of Domestic Manufacturing Industries (among other things perpetrated upon us by the Megalomaniac Billionaires, Authoritarian Technocrats and all of their Multinational Corporations).
