Face it, American football has long ago become de-facto recruiting / training for young people to join the military and fight our endless wars for Oil & other natural resources in the middle east. Our government and our entertainment industry should spend so much money and air time promoting Math and Science, skills and training that can reverse the steepening decline of our country.

Ask a military veteran or a DOD employee, they'll probably tell you: 'I wish I had a nickel for every time I heard a commanding officer use a Football or Baseball term when trying to describe a situation or process to his underlings'.

It doesn't take a psychology degree to see that interchangeably using terms between team sports and the military, results in a 'blurring of the lines' in young people's perception of these activities being 'games'.

To those who are most involved in team sports at an early age, there can't be much difference between the adrenaline that they have been conditioned to crave on the sports field, and the adrenaline they get from the battlefield. No one who thinks deeply about these similarities, can dispute the pairing of team sports with the military, especially American Football.

Much of the same team building exercises, the 'team mentality', and even the mental preparation for the big game / battle is identical to those of combat units of the military. Deny it all you want; but there is a correlation between early involvement in team sports and serving in military combat units later in life.

After all; why spend money on Math and Science? We don't need scientist or mathematicians in this country; we can just import eager Asians or Indians, to take all those jobs with the H1B visa program. What we can't importI stand corrected!

Apparently you CAN import war fighters to serve in the U.S. Military:

How's that workin' out for ya Uncle Sam?
are patriotic, Gung-Ho jocks who are willing to 'take one for the team', the American team; to blindly follow orders, without the capacity for intelligent or critical thought.

Besides, the last thing our elite ruling class would want is an educated populace who could see how bad this country has become and how much average person is getting screwed.

The eager Asians or Indians who are smart enough to take our math and science jobs; are also smart enough to realize that their working visa could get revoked if they use their intellect to publicly point out where this country is failing; and how this country has become a plutocracy.

Though, I will say; this Sports Based military recruiting system is far fairer than the military draft of years gone by.

Quote of the day 01/04/2021 - on U.S. Military Recruiting woes.

''Absolute BS!

What are these kids fighting for?

For feminists who tell them their masculinity is toxic? For Hollywood who tell them their sex, color & country is evil? For their mother or sister who posts on social media how they wish white people would die? For self-loathing Elites who want Middle East oil & trade deals with Communists? For the forced diversify & inclusion lectures conducted by Drag Queens and Captain Soy-Boy?

Who wants a to fight for a country where half the people hate you and your values?

The reality no one is signing up because their great diversity experiment is a failure.''
