Why does the US have 800 military bases
around the world?
How come the United States is the only developed country in the world
without National Healthcare? How come our roads and bridges are
Apparently, our nation spends so much of our tax dollars on our military, that we can't even afford to pave our roads, and we are converting them back to gravel roads.
Also... funny, true, interesting to watch, and covers a lot
of topics that affect American citizens and explains our government's
disastrous foreign policy. -

How many bombs does the USA drop each day on countries we aren't even at war with? Find out here
Regarding The United States of America's proclivity for War & Military Spending, it's not about Israel, it never was, it's about Oil and War Profits; I could not have said this much better myself:
'It's about money. About cash and gold. Profit. Markets. Growth. About cheap or free resources. Access to labor. New customers.
War makes companies rich, it might be the ONLY way they can get rich. War is waged when GM wants to sell trucks to the Pentagon. When Boeing wants to sell jets. When MIT wants money for arms research. When NATO wants a reason to exist. The dogs of war are loosed when oil gets tight. When countries won't 'accept our cultural freedoms'. When trade agreements aren't enough to open up new markets.
Israel has fleeting nothing to do with it, except maybe when war aligns with their perceived need for hegemony in their own sphere. But by loading all this on Israel you encourage others to miss the real fox in the henhouse. You could wipe Israel off the Earth tomorrow and still have (American) wars for profit for a thousand years to come.
This nation (the USA) was born in war. It has practiced war since that day and will be at war with the rest of the world until humans are killed to the last and the last ounce of profit from war is had.' - cougar_w
